The CAM is a census of commercial accommodation providers in New Zealand and is conducted monthly.
Data is presented in the following areas: regional council's, regional tourism organisations and accommodation types. The data covers information such as capacity, occupancy rates, no. of establishments etc.

REGIONAL VISITOR MONITOR (RVM)
The RVM is a joint venture between the Ministry of Tourism, Tourism New Zealand, Tourism Auckland, Tourism Rotorua, Positively Wellington Tourism, Christchurch & Canterbury Tourism, Tourism Dunedin, and Destination Queenstown.
The purpose of the Regional Visitor Monitor is to provide information about international and domestic visitor motivations and expectations; travel planning and patterns of visitor activity; visitor satisfaction; and visitor expenditure – all at a regional level.
