Autumn

The vibe changes and a new colour palette illuminates the landscape in autumn.  Clear weather and amazing light compliment cooling evenings, creating a perfect environment to relax, kick through the fallen leaves and enjoy an ambience as mellow as the region's finest pinot noir.

Officially 1 March to 31 May. Temperatures fluctuate between several degrees below zero and 25°C (32°F - 77°F), so pack a few layers, including t-shirts.

It's still warm enough for most summer pursuits, and long walks in the hills take on a new appeal under the brilliant colours of autumn foliage.  Otherwise, enjoy the vivid colours as you dine al fresco, play a round of golf, or take to the clear waterways.   A luxurious and relaxed time with a vivid backdrop of brilliant reds and golds of the autumn leaf fall.
